Over the next few days, I will be putting up links on all my blogs and websites for visitors to order my books, or take instant delivery of the ebook versions, and to purchase my grant and fundraising tip sheets, workbooks, and ebooks at various prices, ranging from $3 up to $20, depending on content and length.
Please help me spread the word. Since I'm too ill to travel, the next best thing is to teach and sell all the info in ebook format. This allows me to still make money doing what I love and support my family while obeying my doctor's orders of bedrest.
I will have the ebooks and books listed according to genre. I appreciate everyone's support. God bless you!

HOPE- A Fresh Outlook
This year was an extremely challenging year for me. I spent the majority of it physically ill and physically separated from my husband. I was in and out of hospitals and it felt like I had to go through it all on my own, for the most part. I was diagnosed and mis-diagnosed several times just to end up on a lot of medicine I can't afford. I lost my ability to travel. I lost almost all of my income. My book sales fell for awhile. My movie deal talks staled for awhile. My legal troubles, though they improved, are yet there reminding me of a distant past. Nevertheless, I've made it through this year through the grace and with the help of God.
I am determined to make sure next year is better for me and my family somehow in the ways that I can. There are some things I can't change, like my health situation, but for those things, I can trust God. But the other things that can be changed, even if they seem insurmountable, I am determined to change them little bit by little bit.
I encourage each reader, even if your life was anything but pretty or prosperous or powerful this year, leave your failures and all the pain of this year in this year. Go into next year full of hope. Without it, you have nothing! I love you all!

Preparations
There's not many of us who intend to remain in the same boat next year, but change takes preparations. Now is the time to begin looking over your life and figuring out what went wrong this year, last year, the year before. Then, decide to do things differently. You can't keep doing the same things over and over and expecting anything to change for you, and usually if it does, it's only for the worse.
Life includes a certain amount of gambling, so to speak. If you're going to take a chance, take a chance on God, on life and on love. Those are the most important things. Choose not to worry about the things that consume your energy. You can't pop up and change that in one day or two, but you can begin the process now and measure the outcome a year from now. What do you say?

What's Coming Up for Blog P3
I spent much of 2009 ill and my blog suffered for it. But for 2010, I've committed to a new routine with my blog to make sure it stays fresh and full of content that attracts and empowers my readers, which after all is what it is meant to do.
The first step is adding more authors who can blog when I cannot, those who have the same vision as I have to help women become all they are entitled to be.
The second step is to feature more strong women on this blog who have overcome some tragedy, hardship or simple obstacle to become who they are now. Everyone needs a hero/role model. I grew up without one and it took me longer to become who I am now. I want to show my readership what it's like to have someone who can empathize with you, someone else who can be somewhat of a partner in your hard times that will keep you motivated to keep pushing until you break through the clutter.
The new year is upon us. Stay tuned right here and spread the word! Also, you might want to check out my newest blog, Always the Bride, which is very lighthearted and full of laughs, but still serious enough to make a difference. I love you all!

Christmas Eve Routines
Everyone has their Christmas Eve routines. Normally, they include last minute gift-giving. Unfortunately and fortunately due to health issues, I'm not doing the gift-giving this year so I have more time to rest and try to recoup. However, I do have my own routine that will happen today before I rest.
First, I have to prepare Christmas dinner because I have no intentions of doing anything tomorrow. For dinner, we will have ham, chicken and dressing, BBQ baked beans, sweet potato pies, lasagna, and two of my famous cakes. After all the cooking, I'm going to take my meds and zonk out for the night.
So, what is your routine? Some of you won't even have time to answer this question you're so busy. Don't forget to love those you're with because days are only days without the people you love. And it doesn't matter having them with you if you don't absolutely appreciate and love on them every chance you get. Take it from a chronically ill person. I thank God for every second that my son nags me now. At least he's with me and I'm with him.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Ever Heard of Joyce Scarbrough?
Blog P3 is back in full swing, and I'm back to blogging my little old heart out. Anyway, before illness so rudely interrupted my life, I had a little thing going where I talked about the important people in my life, most of them online friends.
I'm not sure if any of you ever heard of Joyce Scarbrough, but she's one of those talented writers whose work makes mine look still quite amateur in comparison. She recently released another book entitled Symmetry and I promise you all, this one is one of her best works yet. So, if you're not busy, I suggest you pop on over to Amazon.com and pick up a copy of her latest book since I'll be talking to her about it here on Blog P3 very soon. That way you don't have to play catch up........ Still here? Get over to Amazon already!

What Matters
I know that things are difficult with our up and down economic conditions. Some have lost their homes, vehicles and other possessions. It's easy to say that all those things can be replaced, but honestly no one wants to hear that when they are losing everything they have worked so hard to have.
Still, as I sat up in my hospital bed just the other day, I began to reflect back. In all those hours of thinking, not once did I think of a single piece of material possessions I have. Instead, I found myself thinking of hugs, laughter, love, friendship, companionship, times when I've been proud of myself and times when I've been ashamed of myself. In short, I thought of life and realized that what I own is a very small portion of life. The fullness of life has nothing to do with money, which is why two poor people can still have a good marriage.
I found myself praying and asking God for another chance to reorder my life, prioritizing it according to those things which are eternal first. Everything else pales in comparision. Life isn't about flashy accomplishments, as much as it is about learning. In fact, at the end of life all that seems to really matter is who we've loved and who has loved us back!

Cleaning Out My Closet
While some people say giving away books can ruin your bottomline, but keeping them stored can do the same so over the next few weeks, whether for the rest of this year, I'll be giving away those copies of my books that are currently clogging up my closet.
My way of rewarding my faithful readers and followers is to make sure everyone who has continued to follow my blog throughout my extended absences due to severe health issues get a free copy of my books. I believe faithfulness and loyalty should be rewarded!
So, get back to leaving comments, people. I want to get this blog back popping again!

Encouragement for Writers
It can seem like a daunting task to write, do that well, then market to publishers or other media outlet just to end up having to market it again to readers. For some time now, I've been caught in that trap, feeling like it's a never-ending circle. But my son said a few words to shock me back to reality.
I originally began writing because I love it and to make a difference. My intentions were never to get rich on book sales. I lost my focus somewhere along the way. It affected the quality of my work too because I began writing what would sell versus writing what was true to my heart. As writers, we must remain true to ourselves or the quality of our work will show it. I recently found my voice again. I hope to never lose it anymore!
